I was very lucky to have Capt. Charlotte from Captains Quarters assist me on a trip from Rock Harbor Marina back to my home port at Cedar Creek. Captain Charlotte was awesome! She co-piloted with me for the majority of the trip sharing her extensive boating and navigation experience. I am new to boating so this was just what I needed as I didn’t have the confidence to make the trip solo. When we got to the lock at Old Hickory Dam she showed me how it was done explaining all the steps. As I had no experience with any locks I needed someone like Capt Charlotte to show me how it’s done to stay safe and protect my boat. I truly appreciate Capt Charlotte making my trip successful and teaching me along the way. We also had some good laughs along the way.
